Hi Marcus, thanks for the lovely & most enjoyable rides in Genoa & Valencia last week from the Island Star. Gillian enjoyed Genoa it was a bit scarely in those narrow back street & shopping centre but fun. Hope to do it again & please let us know your programme for 2009. Best wishes. Stephen & Gillian XXX

Markus, thank you so very much for giving us such good tours around Rome, Nice and Menorca - we wondered what we had let ourselves in for when we booked three and reaslised that we were in the minority. Would certainly recommend bikestations. Chris was pleased because it stopped me spending in the shops! We thoroughly enjoyed each of the trips - even the hills with such good bikes. thanks to the trips we have also made some good friends. good luck Lesley & chris

A big Thank You. The Cruise came to life with the three cycle tours (Livorno, Toulon & Barcelona). Only wish we had cycled Naples with you as well. Reinhart and Marcos you both are great guides, giving us the feel and enjoyment of each place we visited. The well maintained and comfortable bikes the pace of travel and your back street wanders added to our experience. We look forward to joining you on another cruise. Keep up the great work. Hi Marcus,
Thank you very much for your fantastic humour, your in depth knowledge and topography tours at each port were just what the doctor ordered, a breath of fresh air, we tried our best to get back on the island star for next year, but it was sold out ??, It certainly showed us that cycling is the way forward, and deffinately a credit and bonus to island star cruises. we will cycle again on future cruises with yourself marcus holding the torch for bike stations, just one thing to add, can i have a high vis vest next time i do tail end charlie traffic is deadly in rome lol lol lol good luck marcus till the next time friend.

Brilliant day. It may have been a whistle stop tour of Rome but, what a way to get a taster. Well organised and fun. It was like the Italian Job on two wheels. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a ride through Rome with Marcus during a cruise on the Island Star. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day out and a fascinating way to see the sights of Rome. Marcus was brilliant - he was very well organised and knowledgeable, made us all feel safe without being overbearing and brought a great sense of humour to the trip. I'd definitely recommend his bike trips to anyone who can ride a bike!

Just had 2 weeks on the Island Star 4th - 18th Oct & went on 3 of Markus's bike trips - La Spezia, Livorno to Pisa & Valencia. It's just the best way to see as much as you can in 1 day, much better than bus trips, I'd have gone on more of them had I been allowed! Thanks Markus & keep up the good work. PS La Spezia was my fave, varied riding, great views & lovely village stop for lunch.

Hi Reinholdt,Had a great time on your two bike tours we did to Rome and La Spezia. The highlight being the rain soaked tour to Rome, which i would put on my list of 100 things to do before you die.I'm sure that Richard,Carol,Ray,Margaret,Chris and Tia would agree with me.Before i go a small a small word of advice never trust an Austrian.(only joking)Thanks again Reinholdt

Wow, took the tours of Olbia and Nice with Reinholdt, absolutely fantastic! The best part of my trip.

Reinholdt was first class, made the tour extremly interesting with his knowledge of the area and playful jokes.

I would recomend the tours to anyone and i hope so much to see you again in 2009! I will be doing a lot more of the tours then!

I did 7 cycle tours out of a possible 11. I enjoyed them all, but my favourite 'city' tour was from Livorno to Pisa, and my favourite 'beach' tour was Sardinia or maybe Corsica? Oliver was a great guide and the bike (I had the same one each time) was more comfortable than my one at home. The cycling really made the cruise for me, and I actually managed to lose weight; albeit only 1/2 a pound!

Hi Oliver had a fantastic cruise thanks to your bike rides, we loved them all,but the ones that stand out for me was Rome and the mountain ride in Corsica. All of the rides were so well organized and led. Hope to be able to do it all again some day.

We went on a tour in Toulon, France wih Reinhardt and it was the best tour we did all holiday. The trip was highly enjoyable, because we got to see alot of areas we wouldn't normally have seen had we been walking around. The trip was very well organised, and Reinhardt was very friendly, and patient with the less experienced cycists. Thanks for a lovely experience!
