| Just returned from Island Escape. Joined two bike tours, Palmero and Barcelona. Wish we had booked every tour a bike trip, just the best way to see a country. Gerhard was fantastic, helpful, encouraging and made the trips brilliant. Thank you Gerhard. Won't go on any cruise that does not have star-bikestations. I am even buying a bike now to get fitter for the next time. Thank you | |

| We went on three tours with Gerhard during the first week of August this year and all of them were excellent in their own way. If you only plan on doing one tour, we suggest that you go on the Rome trip, it is a great experience to nip in and out of side streets to be overwhelmed by the awesome monuments that await to greet you. As Gerhard put it, "It is an open air museum". We have been on bike tours before, but we can honestly say that Gerhard makes them special, especially with his dry sense of humour. We cannot recommend Gerhard and his tours enough, book up now, you won't be disappointed!! | |

| Just returned back from the Island Escape. I would like to thank Gerhard for turning a good holiday into a brilliant one. Went on all but one of the cycle tours and found them exhilarating and exciting. Being in my fifties and cycling round the middle of Rome was something I never thought I would do. | We are just back from 2 weeks on the Island Escape. We spent our second week doing all the bike trips with Gerhard and would happily have done 2 weeks doing the bike trips! The trips are an excellent way to see all the sites and great value for money. Gerhard was the best tour guide of our holiday! | |

| 4 of us decided to go on the corsica bike ride. we were all 60ish +. my husband was not at all convinced about it. we had a wonderful ride and the coast line was fab. the ride was 17 miles and steady. we would recommend this to any one and would have booked another but we were due home the day after. no matter what age go for it. it was great ***** | |

We did the bike ride in Mahon and it was absolutely fabulous. My son and nephew really enjoyed it and it is certainly one of those memories that you will never forget. I am so glad that we did it. We managed to have a swim them cycled back. Lots of Fun !!  | |

| We went on the bike tour in Corsica on the 4th July 2010 and can recommend this tour, we really enjoyed it and it was one of the highlights of our holiday. For anyone not sure if they can bike for very long it was a steady pace and the ride along the coast road was spectacular. I would recommend this trip for everyone. | |

| Hi Went on the Island Escape end of May and managed to wangle a place on the Rome trip. So glad I did. Fantastic tour! I had done a coach trip to Rome before on a previous cruise but saw more of Rome in a couple of hours with Sven and the others than a whole day getting on and off a coach! Fantastic tour, great value for money. Would thoroughly recommend to others. | |

Thought I would try these tours as a change from the coach and boy am I glad I did. What a great way to get around and see the sights you would never see on a coach. Oliver was the guide and he was excellent. If you are in two minds about going them a try just go for it you will have a great time. | |

| Hi Dominic Thank you, thank you, thank you for making a mediocre holiday into a great one! Trip round Rome was the best - a knock-down as well as a knock-out. For anyone else reading this, I thought I would give a short guide to "Dominic's Code for bike-riding in Rome": 1. When the lights are red, that means GO (and so do all the other colours) 2. Bikes should reamin on the right side of the road, unless they happen to be in the middle or on the left. 3. it is imprtant to cycle the wrong way up a one-way street whenever possible. 4. Do not cycle on pedestrian ways unless it's very busy. 5. Never signal that you are about to make a turn. Stay on the right intil the last minute, then cut across all traffic . | |
